Ethiopia's economy is booming thanks to its competitive cost of labour, but does the country risk being stuck with low wages for years to come? Reporting from Addis Ababa, presenter Ed Butler speaks to Ethiopian workers - as well as their Chinese boss - to find out whether the country's success is merely due to a ready supply of cheap employees. He also hears from a finance minister and an opposition MP about the cost of living, and whether the government can achieve its aim of transforming Ethiopia into a middle income country in 10 years. Plus, Guy Ryder, director-general of the International Labour Organization, explains why the African nation is following in the footsteps of Southeast Asia.
