The health legacy of 'The Bomb'

Professor Richard Wakeford from the Institute of Population Health, University of Manchester says long term studies show an increased risk of cancer amongst people exposed to radioactivity from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bomb blasts, but little or no increase in the risk of hereditary health problems for their descendants.
