Former Ghanaian midfielder Abedi 'Pele' Ayew - a man widely recognised as one of the greats of African football - never played in the English Premier League. However, on the opening weekend of the 2015/16 season, he got to watch two of his sons make their debuts.

25-year-old Andre made his debut for Swansea City, whilst 23-year-old Jordan played his first game for Aston Villa.

Neither player won their opening fixture, but for Abedi it's more about seeing his sons score, then he can "go home happy."
