End the Awkward
Dr Chetna Kang and Louisa Peacock debate Scope's End the Awkward campaign
Two thirds of people say they feel awkward around disability. So the charity Scope is trying to do something about it.
They've launched a campaign called End the Awkward.
It's designed to encourage people to see the person rather than the disability. But not everyone thinks it's the right thing to do.
This week we'll hear from disabled people about their awkward moments, and find out how they feel about the campaign.
Then we'll debate the merits of it with Scope themselves and with their critics.
