Mark Kermode reviews American Ultra. Mike is a stoner who spends most of his time writing a graphic novel about a superhero monkey. Unknown to him, he is also a government sleeper agent, trained by the CIA to be a deadly weapon. When the agency targets him for termination, his latent skills are reactivated, and a confused Mike must use the skills he never knew he had to keep himself and his girlfriend alive.
