Asisat Oshoala 'motivated' by ´óÏó´«Ã½ WFOTY Award
Nigeria's Asisat Oshoala says she was "motivated" by winning the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Women's footballer of the year award ahead of the 2015 World Cup.
The Liverpool Ladies forward said "I'm not just playing for myself, I'm playing for the people who are looking up to me".
The 20-year-old added that the award has improved the "attention and support the women's game is getting in Africa".
Speaking about the players who might have put themselves in the limelight for the next award Asisat described American Carli Lloyd's performances at the World Cup as "close to perfect".
