Convoy to Calais
Recent pictures in the media of baby Aylan Kurdi washed up on a Turkish beach shocked the world.
The images highlighted the gravity of the humanitarian tragedy taking place as refugees from Syria risk their lives to make it to Europe.
In the past few weeks we have heard more about individuals and groups taking aid and supplies out to refugees in Calais, and the Drive 4 Justice group is one such organisation.
They're aiming to raise 拢20,000 to provide food, clothing and shelter. They are leaving from Blackburn on a convoy to Calais on the 19th of September.
Adnan Hussain is from the group and in this extract he speaks to 大象传媒 Radio Manchester and Lancashire's Indus programme.
