In March 2010 every webpage with the domain address ending in .yu disappeared from the internet 鈥� the largest ever to be removed. This meant that the internet history of the former Yugoslavia was no longer available online. Dr Anat Ben-David, from the Open University in Israel, has managed to rebuild about half of the lost pages 鈥� pages that document the Kosovo Wars, which have been called "the first internet war鈥�.
