Sound Cafe
For people sleeping rough, the challenges of being homeless are not only restricted to finding a safe place to sleep and eat every evening. In fact it can be a very isolating world to inhabit, with little access to community, culture or just a little entertainment. Since October a project in Leicester called Sound Caf茅 has tried to provide an answer to that - setting up a weekly drop-in session where musicians, poets and artists share their talents with an audience. The team has been celebrating as they have been granted charity status.
