Counting elephants in a national park

Kenya's Amboseli National Park is renowned for being a good place to spot African elephants.

The park has 52 elephant families and a regular census is undertaken by the Amboseli Trust for Elephants helps to keep track of their numbers.

The trust says their work over the last 40 years has informed much of what is known about wild African elephants and how to protect them from poachers.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Travel Show's Henry Golding meets the trust's Katito Sayialel and helps to take a census of an elephant family.
