The UN wants "quality education and lifelong learning opportunities" for all by 2030. It's sustainable development goal number four, a pledge contained within a complex list of objectives unveiled by the UN this week. We look at the role of private sector education in Nigeria and Kenya. Manuela Saragosa speaks to Shannon May, co-founder of Bridge International Academies, the largest chain of private schools in Africa, and Dr. Yemi Kale, statistician general of Nigeria's National Bureau of Statistics. The 大象传媒's Will Ross reports from Nigeria where some 70% of children attend private schools. And Rebecca Winthrop, director of the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution in Washington, talks about what's needed to provide education amid Syria's conflict.
