How a German Emigrant Feels About Syrian Immigrants
Stephanie Friedhoff left her home country of Germany by choice. Now, from the United States, she鈥檚 seeing photographs of Syrian asylum seekers who left their homes by necessity. She鈥檚 proud of her country for welcoming them. But she鈥檚 also wary of the history of Germany, where outsiders haven鈥檛 always been so warmly received.
