‘Barbie, c’est moi’
The contemporary artist BillyBoy* became world renowned for his vast collection of Barbie dolls, individually dressed by top fashion designers, from Yves Saint Laurent to Christian Dior, and in 1985, the pop artist Andy Warhol asked to do his portrait. It would become the final American icon Warhol ever captured.
