Julian Joseph looks at the masters in the art of Improvisation with virtuoso guitarist Martin Taylor.

Julian Joseph presents a Masters of Improvisation special in the company of virtuoso guitarist Martin Taylor.

Featuring music from some of the greatest guitar improvisers including Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall.

The show also includes selections from other great improvisers in jazz including saxophonist John Coltrane, pianist Bill Evans and vocalist Sarah Vaughan. Martin demonstrates the key principles to improvising and also performs an improvisation of the jazz standard ‘All The Things You Are’ composed by Jerome Kern & Oscar Hammerstein II.
