In early October American forces in Afghanistan fired missiles into a Kunduz hospital killing 22, including 12 staff working for MSF. The organisation demanded that the incident be investigated as a war crime. But in the world鈥檚 most dangerous conflict zones, is it possible to save lives and not take sides?
