China football to follow Wenger's way

China has paid French universities in Bordeaux, Montpellier and Toulouse 2 million Euros for their footballing know how. It's all part of a government priority for Beijing. Not just an industrial superpower, it wants to be able to dominate in the football sphere too one day.

And it looks like they are investing wisely, for the same French university sports programme is where Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger learnt his football psychology and strategy.
