Well it's highly likely that if your dog disappears it'll end up at College Garth Kennels at Hathern near Loughborough.

It takes in around three and a half thousand dogs each year from across Leicestershire - with a four percent rise in the number of strays handed in last year.

It costs thousands of pounds to assess and care for the dogs, and apart from a small payment made by councils, the work is funded entirely by charity.
