Kayleigh, Paris & A Quiz Night

Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.

Police in Leicestershire are this morning continuing the search for a 15 year-old girl - who's been missing since Friday night. 15 year-old Kayleigh Haywood - who's from Measham - was last seen by her family when she was dropped off at Ibstock Community College at around 6 o'clock for a night out with friends. She checked in with her parents with a phone call on Saturday morning to let them know she was ok. However, since then there's been no further calls or contact from Kayleigh and, as Detective Chief Superintendant David Sandall explained to us, that's completely out of character for this teenager.
Also, tonight England and France play at Wembley. Prince William's attending and there'll be armed police in and around the stadium. Football fans from Leicester are preparing to show their support for the victims of the attack as they attend the England France game this evening. Ronnie Finney from Stoney Stanton was going to London to watch Jamie Vardy. But now he says he going to show unity with the French.
And, There's nothing like being able to get a bit dressed up and heading to a bday party - when you combine that with the chance to help raise money for a good cause then what have you got to lose? Well the Shepshed based charity STEPS is set to benefit from a black tie dinner with a difference. The event being held at the Tigers ground a week today combines a lovely meal with a brain-teasing quiz night. There's a raffle, a tombola with guaranteed prizes, a charity auction and of course a trophy for the winning team. STEPS offers conductive education to children with motor disorders and is celebrating its 21st birthday.
