Why people could fall off electoral register
Changes to electoral registers could see thousands of people lose the right to vote if they do not sign up by the end of the month.
Ministers say it is about accuracy and dealing with fraud, but Labour claims it is something more sinister, and it could end up losing more supporters than the government.
Jo Coburn heard both sides of the argument with Conservative minister for constitutional reform John Penrose, and Labour's Gloria de Piero, the shadow minister for voter registration, along with her guest of the day Lord (Digby) Jones.
