If he can get through the MLS he can coach anywhere in the world - that is the thoughts of former US international Alexi Lalas on Patrick Vieira's new career move.

The former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder has been appointed as head coach of Major League Soccer club New York City.

Well Lalas has worked as the General Manager at two Major League Soccer clubs including the New York Red Bulls, he worked with Ruud Gullit during his time in the MLS and he says Vieira has a tough task ahead:
