Children In Need - The Bethany Project
Children In Need is all about the children. But sometimes it's about families too.
And in Leicester - vulnerable women with children or who are pregnant and face homelessness are offered a new start at life at The Bethany Project.
The project offers them a roof over their head. It teaches them and holds their hand through childbirth and the values of good parenting. The scheme which is owned and managed by Adullam Homes Housing Association and provides accommodation for up to 12 young and vulnerable families at any time.
A year ago Jonathan Lampon went to The Bethany Project - 12 months on he's returned.
The money they were given by Children in Need went to pay for a families intervention office called Jules. Jonathan went back to meet her and one of the Mums who owes her safety and welfare to the project.
