Eyewitnesses describe what they saw during a number of terrorist attacks in Paris.

Residents in Paris have been telling 大象传媒 Radio 5 live what they witnessed during a series of terrorist attacks that occurred throughout the city.

France has declared a national state of emergency and tightened borders after at least 120 people were killed in a night of gun and bomb attacks in Paris.

Loic Tanzi is a journalist with Goal.com, he was at the Stade de France in the north of Paris where an explosion was heard. It was only whilst speaking to 5 live's Eleanor Oldroyd that he realised the severity of the attacks.

"When we were in the Stadium, we thought it was fireworks...This is the first time that I've listened to the explosion again and I'm just beginning to start shaking now".

Daniel de la Sobrera lives near a restaurant where another attack took place; he saw bodies laid outside as he left his home.

"From afar I could see some bodies lying on the ground covered with white sheets".

Igor Maldenovic was also near a restaurant where one of the attacks happened and he believes Paris will no longer will be the "carefree" city that he has previously known.

"There's no safe neighbourhood now in my opinion".

Eighty people are reported killed after gunmen burst into the Bataclan concert hall and took hostages before security forces stormed the hall.

People were shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris. Eight attackers are reported killed.
