Bataclan concert survivor describes his escape
Bataclan concert survivor Jack has described how he and his friend escaped as gunmen attacked the venue as part of a night of terror across Paris.
Nottingham University student Jack, who is living in Paris as part of his course, and his friend Hanna were among hundreds watching American rock band Eagles of Death Metal when it was stormed by four gunmen.
At least eighty concert-goers are feared dead, with many more injured.
Jack told 大象传媒 Radio 5 live's Adrian Goldberg that he initially thought he could hear firecrackers, but very quickly "everyone hit the floor".
"I saw one of the gunmen - who wasn't shooting that time - and having seen that I dropped to the floor and tried to stay as low as possible," he said.
Some people were able to quickly move towards the fire exits to make their escape, continues Jack.
"We were dealt a pretty lucky hand to have been so close to it and get out pretty much unscathed," he said.
