Stevenage MP receives backing for tax credits campaign
The Stevenage Conservative MP says he's had backing from government ministers for his campaign to reverse planned changes to tax credits.
Stephen McPartland, who has gone against his party on the planned reductions, says the way the changes will impact people is "extreme".
The Chancellor has said he would make changes to the proposals following a defeat of the bill in the House of Lords.
Speaking to the 大象传媒's Sunday Politics programme, Mr McPartland set out what his concerns were.
