A balloon launch has taken place in Dunstable this morning to mark the start of a domestic abuse campaign.

The international 16 Days of Action campaign starts today, and groups in Bedfordshire have released dozens of balloons to highlight the problem of domestic and sexual abuse in the area.

Nearly 12,000 reports of domestic and sexual abuse were reported to Bedfordshire Police in the last year, but it's believed only 30% of domestic abuse and 10% of sexual abuse is reported.
