Now most of us have put the garden to bed for the winter but if you're a keen vegetable grower, you may still be harvesting seasonal veg from your plot.

It's also time to be thinking ahead to the spring and an environmental group in Loughborough are aiming to get more of us growing our own produce by offering cut price seed potatoes for sale.

Transition Loughborough is offering a wide variety of seed spuds which you order online and then collect from a special stall on Loughborough market next month. Any profit is ploughed back into the group's Loughborough allotment.
