McDonald's faces European tax probe
The European Commission is investigating tax deals struck between McDonald's and the state of Luxembourg. The Commission suspects those deals allowed the world's biggest fast food company to escape paying taxes in both Luxembourg and the United States. McDonald's is just the latest multi-national to face scrutiny over its tax affairs in Europe.
