Farage: ‘Electoral process dead’ in Oldham
UKIP leader Nigel Farage says “bent” postal votes played a part in the Oldham West and Royton by-election, which was won by Labour with a majority of 10,835.
Mr Farage told the Today programme that there were “big ethnic changes in the way people are voting”.
“In some of these seats, where ... people don't speak English but they're signed up to postal votes, effectively the electoral process is now dead,” he told presenter Sarah Montague.
