Turner Prize-nominated artist David Shrigley talks us through how to create a "non-drawing", and explains why the message in your art is more important than the way it looks...
Shrigley graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1991. His distinct line drawings, photographs and sculptures have since been exhibited all over the world. His next commissioned sculpture, a giant 'thumbs up', will go on display on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, London, in 2016.
