El Nino is being blamed for some of the extreme weather conditions we are seeing across the globe - flooding, drought and unusual temperatures. In South America it's being linked to the worst floods seen in 50 years. NASA says it could be one of the worst El Nino weather systems since 1998 - the strongest on record. Dr Kamiar Mohaddes of Cambridge University has been looking into the economic effects of El Nino around the world.
