Thousands of euros fished from Danube River
Police in Austria have recovered tens of thousands of euros floating in the river Danube in the capital, Vienna. A man who spotted the cash floating in the water dived in to retrieve it. A local newspaper reported that onlookers thought he was trying to kill himself and called the police. Officers arrived just as he was fishing out the 100 and 500 euro notes. Police Chief Inspector Roman Hahslinger spoke to Outside Source about the find.
