SpaceX rocket successfully launched and landed upright

US space company SpaceX has successfully launched and then landed an unmanned rocket upright - the first time this has been accomplished. The achievement has been hailed as milestone towards reusing rockets. Dr Lucy Rogers told us why this is such an important step for space travel.
