China Buys Into Hollywood

Wang Jianlin, China's richest man, buys control of a successful Hollywood film studio. Plus, consumer groups challenge McDonald's in Europe.

China's Dalian Wanda Group has agreed to buy control of Legendary Entertainment, the company behind films such as The Dark Knight and Jurassic World. Dalian Wanda is owned by Wang Jianlin, China's richest man, and the deal has left many industry watchers speculating about the future of global cinema. Marie Keyworth speaks to the 大象传媒鈥檚 Steve Evans in Beijing about the company鈥檚 plans to build the biggest movie making complex in the world. Also, Samsung sets up an independent committee to monitor its factories after employees develop rare cancers as a result of manufacturing the technology giant鈥檚 semi-conductors.
