Dead inmate's mother 'warned authorities'
The mother of a prisoner who was found dead in his cell in Essex says she warned authorities he could kill himself.
Dean Saunders, 25, attacked family members following a paranoid episode and was placed in custody at Chelmsford Prison after being charged with attempted murder.
Donna Saunders told 大象传媒 Essex she had warned the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) he should not be at Chelmsford Prison because of threats to take his own life.
The MoJ said the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman would investigate.
