Corbyn attacks nursing bursary cut
The government's decision to scrap student nurse bursaries in England and replace them with loans was raised by Jeremy Corbyn at Prime Minister鈥檚 Questions.
The Labour leader raised the example of "Vicky", who said she could not have become a mental health nurse without the bursary scheme and that the NHS risked losing her skill and dedication.
David Cameron said the current system would actually turn away two out of three people in Vicky鈥檚 situation, leading to more nurses being recruited from Bulgaria and Romania.
