Peter Marciano: Mayweather will never rival Rocky's legacy
Listen to why the youngest brother of legendary heavyweight boxer Rocky Marciano believes Floyd Mayweather won't match his brother's legacy despite equalling his record.
Mayweather beat Andre Berto in September this year to extend his winning run to 49 fights, thus equalling the record of legendary former heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano. Marciano's brother Peter told Sportsworld's Sarah Mulkerrins whether Mayweather's name will stand the test of time and how Rocky would have reacted to his record being equalled if he was alive today.
Rocky Marciano's record stood for just under sixty years after he retired from boxing following his win over Archie Moore. Tragically Rocky died on the eve of his 46th birthday in a plane crash in 1969. (Image: Rocky Marciano & Floyd Mayweather, Credit: Getty Images)
