Shereen speaks with Anne Richards, Chief Investment Officer and executive director of Aberdeen Asset Management, a FTSE 100 company.

She began her career as a research fellow at CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, moving into investments in 1992. Educated in Edinburgh she now travels the world keeping abreast of all the variables that effect the financial markets.

She is passionate about gender equality and social justice and is advocating a different approach as to how these issues can be addressed that could economically benefit Scotland and beyond. Shereen started her conversation by asking how she came to choose engineering considering where she has ended up.
