Luton-based Easyjet unveils designs for hybrid plane
Luton-based Easyjet has unveiled designs for a new hybrid plane.
The budget airline is developing the aircraft in partnership with Cranfield University in Bedfordshire.
It will use hydrogen fuel cells while the plane is taxiing on the runway, saving around 50,000 tonnes of fuel a year.
