Trapped at the border: the view from Turkey and Greece
As many as thirty-five thousand people trying to escape the fighting in Syria, remain trapped behind the Turkish border, which remains closed. Some of them will want to move on to western Europe, where further border closures will delay or prevent their journey. We hear from two journalists watching the refugee crisis unfold at the borders: Andrew Connelly has been to the Greek-Macedonian border, and the 大象传媒's Selin Girit spoke to us from the Turkish town of Gazantiep, near the Syrian border.
