With the NHS under increasing pressure, community healthcare professionals across Leicestershire and Rutland have a busy workload.

But did you know that volunteer Parish nurses can help support the work of the NHS?

There are just a handful of them in our area - registered nurses who can offer home visits, support for carers, appointment booking and unlike community nurses, they can organise prayers for patients who can't get to their place of worship.
