Fire dancing in Karachi
大象传媒 Urdu's Shumaila Khan has been filming fire dancers in southern Pakistan. The performers are from the Sheedi community in Lyari, Karachi who trace their roots to east Africa 200 years ago when some of their forefathers were brought to the country as slaves. The dance is spectacular but dangerous and performers risk swallowing kerosene or being burnt.
