After two days of intense talks in Brussels the British Prime Minister says he has negotiated a deal to give the UK special status in the EU. Under the new terms, the UK will be exempt from further political integration, in-work benefits will be denied to EU migrant workers for four years and Britain will have the right to supervise financial institutions and markets to preserve financial stability. The European Council president Donald Tusk said the European leaders had done all they could to keep Britain in the EU, ahead of a British referendum on the issue. We look more closely at the arguments for and against the UK leaving the EU.

American Apparel has been through huge difficulties lately. The label鈥檚 founder Dov Charney was fired in December 2014 then, less than a year later, the company filed for bankruptcy. But things are slowly turning around. Kai Ryssdal of our partner programme Marketplace took a walk around the brand鈥檚 LA factory with new CEO Paula Schneider.

How do you get into work? Here in London the authorities think that within a few years more people will use a bike to commute than drive a car. There's a huge amount of investment going towards making the roads safer - so is the cycling boom unstoppable?

Harper Lee, the author of one of the world's most loved books, To Kill a Mockingbird, has died. She was 89. The tale of prejudice in the American Deep South of the 1930s sold tens of millions of copies. Fifty-five years later, in one of the great surprises in modern publishing, a discarded early version of the book emerged. Some critics thought Go Set A Watchman should have remained unpublished. We look back on Harper Lee's life and career.
