Scientists are sending Rosetta to tail a comet through space for two years

In three years, the European Space Agency will launch the unmanned Rosetta to follow a comet for two years. Lessons from comparative genomics – the study of the genetic common ground between organisms – and finding out what humans and, for instance, dogs, have in common. Scientists from the 186 UN member nations meet in Budapest, Hungary, for the once-in-20-years World Conference on Science with the aim to agree on how science can benefit the whole world.
