British scientists are close to producing human-animal embryos after a new ruling

British stem cell researchers are set to produce human-animal embryos within a few months, following a regulatory ruling this week. The asteroid that may have wiped out dinosaurs 65 million years ago could have been a fragment of a much larger one called Baptistina – other fragments impacted the Moon and other planets. Plus, chemical challenges of biofuel, the dramatic loss of wildlife across Africa and its national parks, and the amazing properties of synthetic muscle.
