A rare, blind salamander appears to be successfully reproducing at Postojna cave in Slovenia. The animal, called an olm, can live up to 100 years but it only lays eggs once or twice a decade. Biologist Saso Weldt has told Outside Source they're studying the mother and her eggs via an infrared camera.
