Is your social media starved of politics-related chatter? Then try following one of the MPs who tweet most frequently.

On the Daily Politics, Jo Coburn spoke to Labour MP Jamie Reed, who ranks third in the list of top ten tweeters. He said it was a great way to get his message out to people. Also in the discussion was Carl Miller, Research Director at the Centre for Social Media Analysis at the think-tank Demos, who argued that social media is becoming the new political battleground.

Guest of the day Peter Kellner chimed in, saying that in his long career in and around Westminster he hadn't once sent a tweet.
