Events and issues as the World Conference against Racism continues in Durban
Report from the World Conference against Racism conference in Durban, South Africa, begins with a demonstration there against China. One of the key discussions at the conference has been slavery and what form reparation might or could take. Redress for past acts of racism and prevention are two of the conference themes, as UN High Commissioner Mary Robinson explained.
