Artists in Norwich weave modern narratives using an ancient art
The Contemporary British Tapestry exhibition in Norwich expands on the history and practice of weaving. Master of special-effects Ray Harryhausen talks about monsters he created for the film Clash of the Titans. Korean sanjo music at the Commonwealth Centre in London, played on the 12-string kayagum by Professor Lee Chaesuk from Seoul National University. As the director of the National Theatre's production of Howard Brenton's play The Romans in Britain is sent for trial, his new play, 13th Night, with a contemporary political setting, has gained mixed reviews.
