The Boys from the Bush, Bhundu Boys
In 1983 a Zimbabwean band named the Bhundu Boys introduced a new sound. They played a mixture of chimurenga music with American rock and roll, disco, country, and pop influences. They burst onto the British music scene in 1986, a story of accomplishment and blight.
