Global Perspective - Escaping the Water Wolf
Over 2000 years ago the Dutch began digging ditches to drain water from boggy ground. Now land once several metres above sea level has sunk to several metres below, only kept dry by constant pumping. Today, climate change brings new threats as sea level rise.
